Bee Cave Tests Emergency Alert System

The City of Bee Cave is testing its emergency alert system as part of a statewide drill organized by the Texas Department of Emergency Management.

The drill will take place Thursday April 2 from 10am-12:30pm. During this time, multiple jurisdictions and entities will be testing alert systems. This includes the county, school districts, cities and others.

Individuals may receive multiple alerts. No action is needed. Do not call 911.

The purpose of the test is to ensure these alert systems work and to identify any gaps in coverage.
