Mission Statement

The Bee Cave Police Department is dedicated to providing professional police service to our community. Our goal is to provide a safe environment for those that live and visit Bee Cave by preserving the peace and maintaining the "home town"atmosphere. The Bee Cave Police Department is here for the needs of our community.

Officers of the Bee Cave Police Department are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you have an emergency, please call 911.

  

Chief of Police

Chief Brian Jones was officially sworn in by Lieutenant Montez on Monday, August 2, 2021 at the Bee Cave Police Department. Chief Jones leads our Bee Cave Police Department after previously overseeing the Southeast Area Command, known as Frank Sector, for the Austin Police Department.

Chief Jones started his law enforcement career in January 1997, joining the Austin Police Department's 89th cadet class. After 24 years with the department, he retired as Commander in August 2021. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas - Austin and Master's Degree from Texas State University in Criminal Justice.
